Cutout Process
I have been practicing paper cutting since I was in high school, and through the years it has developed from simple silhouettes into intricate lace-like pieces. This unique art form has come about as a cross between my personal drawing style and the ancient art of paper-cutting practiced in many cultures around the world. The most well known are the intricate cut patterns and figures from China and the more symmetrical cutouts of country scenes from Eastern Europe.
